Winter Light
I finally made time to sit down and scan a few rolls of film I shot using the XPan. I thought I would be posting more often here at West End Fields but there never seems to be enought time in the day.
This blog might be a snooze for the 6 people who might have seen it. Anyway, this was shot along the edge of a kettle pond on a super calm winters day in Brewster. There is a neat path that winds thru the woods here with many photographic opportunities.
The silence of the pond and sky, birds flying overhead, I noticed a fox sitting along the edge of the pond sunning itself in the last rays of daylight. Enjoy...

Orange Bottom Lead and Oak
Here is an Xpan image that I created a more than a few years back. Film was likely Fuji Reala 100. Will have to go back to my notes as to what lens I used. 30mm maybe...The Hasselblad XPan is such a beautiful instrument. If you like panoramic photography, rangefinder focusing and don't mind using film, one might find this camera appealing in pursuing their photographic vision.

Stones
The sound of the surf thru these stones is insanely loud when they tumble thru the sands of time.
A wave pushes its way to the top, flooding the beach. Crazy volume of water breaking from a single roller..and today is a gentle day on the water!

Field Notes
My Wrunt arrived along with a fresh batch of Field Notes!
This particular batch of FN is pretty cool, titled, "National Crop Edition"
The Wrunt will live on my tractor key ring for now...my current favorite Atwood.
